Q + A

What if I cannot attend the celebrations in Italy, will you be celebrating locally as well?

Yes, we will be hosting a celebration back in the states. To be announced at a later date.

Do I need a visa to travel to Italy for the wedding?

You may need to acquire an ETIAS visa for travel within Italy, but the date it will go into effect in 2025 has not yet been announced. If the EU announces a start date before the wedding, we will notify all guests via email or text. If you plan to extend your trip and visit the UK, you will need to apply for an ETA visa, which only takes about five minutes to complete.

When should I plan to arrive in Sorrento?

Guests are welcome to arrive as early as they please to explore Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. We will be arriving the week prior to the wedding. Please let us know when you are arriving so we can plan events accordingly.

How will I get to the wedding ceremony at Villa Antiche Mura?

We will be providing transportation to and from Villa Antiche Mura on the day of the wedding. The bus will depart around 3:30-4:00pm (exact time to be confirmed closer to the event), as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. The venue is about a 15-minute walk from Piazza Tasso (the city center), but please note that the streets can be difficult to navigate in formal or dress attire. We highly recommend using the provided transportation to ensure a comfortable and timely arrival.

What is the dress code for your welcome party?

Festive Attire: For women, think bright, fun, and flowing dresses or chic jumpsuits in airy fabrics like cotton, linen, or silk. Men think linen or dress pants with a button-down shirt.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Cocktail Attire. For women think knee-length or long elegant dresses, bright and fun colors are encouraged! Men, think classic or linen suits paired with shirt and tie.

Are gifts expected?

Your presence in Sorrento means the world to us, and we truly appreciate the effort you’re making to celebrate with us. Gifts are absolutely not expected. If you do feel inclined, we kindly ask that you avoid bringing physical gifts to Italy.
